WHERE ARE WE AT?

DH model is finally ready!

The “Model of Valorisation of archaeological sites through dance and performing arts" is founded on the principles of collaboration, community engagement, and an unwavering respect for historical sites.

By incorporating best practices, experience and collective knowledge, it seeks to ensure the protection, celebration, and continuity of our cultural heritage for generations to come.

It is a blueprint for creating festivals that resonate with their communities and enrich the legacy of our shared history.

The technical partners worked very hard with other partners, stakeholders and communities and collected more than 200 questionnaires from 11 countries and 60 good practices on relationships between citizens and cultural activities, local needs, enhancement of cultural heritage, community engagement.

As a result, it was concluded that an efficient model for the valorisation of heritage sites through performing arts, community engagement and territorial development should consist of 10 components:

At the end of the project, the good practices detected, the methodology designed, and the results achieved, will become a shared and common knowledge available for further use and implementation at European level.

It’s time to test our implementation strategies!
Institutional Partners managing the heritage sites and stakeholders have been involved in a co-design process, adapting the model to the local needs.

They have worked together for over a month to introduce the model to the territories and involve local communities through 52 meetings amongst stakeholders which produced 22 framework agreements.

For each selected heritage site, Institutional and Technical Partners have worked to create an accurate plan regarding artistic production, community engagement, territorial marketing and development.
The implementation strategy will be tested during Workshops and the DH festivals.

Let’s dance!

Dance Companies have started their first workshops within the communities hosting the cultural sites.

They have been in Viminacium (SB), Ostia (IT), Merida (ES) and Volos (GR), and will be in Tharros (IT) in the next weeks (from 6th to 10th April).

In the next months, they will do the second and third workshops and the final residency and finally… the first edition of DH Festivals!

¡El modelo DH por fin está listo!

El "Modelo de Valorización de Sitios Arqueológicos a través de la Danza y las Artes Escénicas" se basa en los principios de colaboración, participación comunitaria y un respeto inquebrantable por los sitios históricos.

Al incorporar las mejores prácticas, la experiencia y el conocimiento colectivo, busca garantizar la protección, la celebración y la continuidad de nuestro patrimonio cultural para las generaciones venideras.

Se trata de un modelo para crear festivales que conecten con sus comunidades y enriquezcan el legado de nuestra historia compartida.

Los socios técnicos trabajaron arduamente con otros socios, partes interesadas y comunidades, recopilando más de 200 cuestionarios de 11 países y 60 buenas prácticas sobre las relaciones entre la ciudadanía y las actividades culturales, las necesidades locales, la valorización del patrimonio cultural y la participación comunitaria.

Como resultado, se concluyó que un modelo eficiente para la valorización de los sitios patrimoniales a través de las artes escénicas, la participación comunitaria y el desarrollo territorial debería constar de 10 componentes:

Al final del proyecto, las buenas prácticas detectadas, la metodología diseñada y los resultados obtenidos se convertirán en un conocimiento compartido y común, disponible para su posterior uso e implementación a nivel europeo.

¡Es hora de poner a prueba nuestras estrategias de implementación!
Los socios institucionales que gestionan los sitios patrimoniales y las partes interesadas han participado en un proceso de codiseño, adaptando el modelo a las necesidades locales.

Han trabajado juntos durante más de un mes para presentar el modelo en los territorios e involucrar a las comunidades locales a través de 52 reuniones entre las partes interesadas, que dieron lugar a 22 acuerdos marco.

Para cada sitio patrimonial seleccionado, los socios institucionales y técnicos han trabajado para crear un plan preciso en materia de producción artística, participación comunitaria, marketing territorial y desarrollo.

La estrategia de implementación se pondrá a prueba durante los talleres y los festivales de danza DH.

¡A bailar!

Las compañías de danza han comenzado sus primeros talleres en las comunidades que albergan los sitios culturales.

Han estado en Viminacium (SB), Ostia (IT), Mérida (ES) y Volos (GR), y estarán en Tharros (IT) en las próximas semanas (del 6 al 10 de abril).

En los próximos meses, realizarán el segundo y tercer taller, la residencia final y, finalmente… ¡la primera edición de los Festivales de Danza DH!
