The final stage of Dancing Histor(Y)ies/Fase final del Dancing Histor(Y)ies

We are back at the beginning of the year heading to the final stage of Dancing Histor(Y)ies after an autumn of meetings, gatherings, and workshops to improve the DH Model. We are now preparing the full schedule for the last leg of the project and related events.

The artistic and institutional partners continue to generate news about the meetings across the various venues where last year’s dance festivals and mini festivals have been held. Now, our next step is to review the updates shared by our local partners about this exciting period we are entering, dedicated to dance and European cultural heritage.

Today, let’s have a deep insight on what the DH Training model is all about!

DH Peer to peer Training Strategy and Tools - Learning by sharing. Growing through dialogue.

We are proud to announce that we’ve finalized the DH Peer-to-Peer Training Strategy and Tools. It offer a practical, inclusive approach to learning based on participation, trust, and mutual exchange as an alternative to traditional training by placing people, dialogue, and shared experience at the center of learning.

Designed for organizations, facilitators, and practitioners who believe in democratic, participatory ways of working—and in the power of learning together.

Created through a collaborative needs-analysis process across the project partnership, the strategy combines research insights, artistic practices, and hands-on facilitation tools such as Liberating Structures, experiential exercises, and peer-to-peer workshops.

Its methodology supports active listening, confidence-building, and collaborative problem-solving, encouraging participants to learn with and from each other. Drawing on research, artistic practices, and hands-on facilitation tools, it can be easily adapted to different topics, teams, and project phases.

No special equipment. No rigid formats. Just people, dialogue, and shared experience.

Developed and produced with the cooperation of all partners, and written and edited by Cyprus University of Technology, This document is the outcome of a process that began within the framework of the project Dancing Histor(y)ies: Binding Communities and Heritage Through Dance, aiming to carry out a particularly challenging undertaking.

Its objective was twofold: to respond to identified training needs through a participatory process involving the project partners, and to support the wider DH project audience by offering a practical, scalable, and user-friendly peer to peer learning methodology applicable across multiple contexts and use cases.

Fase final Proyecto Dancing Histor(Y)ies

Regresamos a principios de año y, se proyecta hacia la etapa final de Dancing Histor(Y)ies, tras un otoño de reuniones, encuentros y talleres para mejorar el Modelo DH. Actualmente, se está preparando el programa completo para la última etapa del proyecto y los eventos relacionados.

Los socios artísticos e institucionales siguen generando noticias sobre las reuniones en las distintas sedes donde se celebraron los festivales y minifestivales de danza del año pasado.

Ahora, el siguiente paso es revisar las actualizaciones compartidas por nuestros socios locales sobre este emocionante período que iniciamos, dedicado a la danza y al patrimonio cultural europeo.

Hoy, ¡profundicemos en el modelo de capacitación de DH!

Estrategia y herramientas de capacitación entre pares de DH: Aprendiendo compartiendo. Creciendo a través del diálogo.

De esta forma, se subraya anunciar la finalización de la Estrategia y herramientas de capacitación entre pares de DH.

Ofrece un enfoque práctico e inclusivo para el aprendizaje basado en la participación, la confianza y el intercambio mutuo como alternativa a la capacitación tradicional, priorizando a las personas, el diálogo y la experiencia compartida.

Diseñado para organizaciones, facilitadores y profesionales que creen en formas de trabajo democráticas y participativas, y en el poder del aprendizaje conjunto.

Creada mediante un proceso colaborativo de análisis de necesidades en toda la colaboración del proyecto, la estrategia combina perspectivas de investigación, prácticas artísticas y herramientas prácticas de facilitación como Estructuras Liberadoras, ejercicios experienciales y talleres entre pares.

Su metodología promueve la escucha activa, el desarrollo de la confianza y la resolución colaborativa de problemas, animando a los participantes a aprender unos de otros.

Basándose en la investigación, las prácticas artísticas y las herramientas prácticas de facilitación, se adapta fácilmente a diferentes temas, equipos y fases del proyecto.

Sin equipo especial. Sin formatos rígidos. Solo personas, diálogo y experiencias compartidas.

Desarrollado y producido con la colaboración de todos los socios, y redactado y editado por la Universidad Tecnológica de Chipre, este documento es el resultado de un proceso iniciado en el marco del proyecto Dancing Histor(y)ies: Binding Communities and Heritage Through Dance, con el objetivo de llevar a cabo una tarea particularmente compleja.

Su objetivo era doble: responder a las necesidades de formación identificadas mediante un proceso participativo con la participación de los socios del proyecto y apoyar al público más amplio del proyecto de Humanidades Digitales (HD) ofreciendo una metodología de aprendizaje entre pares práctica, escalable y fácil de usar, aplicable en múltiples contextos y casos de uso.
